Anionic Polyacrylamide

Polyacrylamide is a water-soluble polymer based on acrylamide units. PubChem confirms CAS 9003-05-8 for polyacrylamide, but anionic PAM grades normally contain ionic functionality whose type and degree vary with the commercial product.

In mining, anionic polyacrylamides are used as flocculants to promote solid-liquid separation, including tailings settling, thickening and clarification. Molecular weight and anionic charge density are central performance variables, so a generic CAS number is not enough to define the Hamara product. These specifications require client confirmation.
