Carboxymethyl Cellulose
Carboxymethyl cellulose is a chemically modified cellulose polymer containing carboxymethyl substituents. Because degree of substitution, molecular weight and counterion vary by grade, CMC does not have one meaningful fixed molecular formula or molecular weight for catalogue purposes.

Product information
Carboxymethyl cellulose is a chemically modified cellulose polymer containing carboxymethyl substituents. Because degree of substitution, molecular weight and counterion vary by grade, CMC does not have one meaningful fixed molecular formula or molecular weight for catalogue purposes.
In mineral flotation, selected CMC grades are used as depressants and dispersants, including in circuits where talc, naturally floatable gangue or other silicate minerals must be controlled. Performance is strongly grade-dependent, so Hamara should confirm viscosity, degree of substitution and mining-use specification before publishing technical claims.
