Product information
Chlorine is a diatomic halogen that exists as a yellow-green gas at ordinary conditions and can be supplied as a liquefied gas under pressure. It is a strong oxidizing and chlorinating substance with a sharp irritating odor.
Industrial applications include water treatment, pulp and textile bleaching and manufacture of chlorine-containing chemicals. The inventory lists 99.5% liquefied gas, which is consistent with commercial gas supply terminology, but Hamara should confirm the actual purity and pressure-container specification before publishing commercial details.

General guidance
Handling and storage
Chlorine SDS guidance requires specialized gas-handling systems, strong ventilation controls and suitable respiratory, eye and skin protection because chlorine is acutely toxic and corrosive. Cylinders or bulk vessels must be secured, protected from heat and kept away from incompatible materials. Leak response and storage arrangements must follow the current SDS and applicable compressed-gas requirements.
